The needle is small, short and thin.

If preferred a distraction device can be used to keep you comfortable.

There’s virtually zero downtime.

Neurotoxins are often referred to as a “lunchtime procedure,” since most patients return directly to work or normal activity immediately.

Some redness and swelling may occur at the injection sites. This usually subsides within a few hours.

Very rarely, patients may experience minor bruising.

ATTENTION:

*Do not lay down for the first 4 hours after treatment.

*We ask that you wait 4 hours after your treatment to participate in moderate exercise.

*Please wait 24 hours if you engage in strenuous exercise (heart rate over 130 bpm).

Results last around 3-6 months.

This is dependent on dose, location of the treatment, your muscle activity and your body’s individual response.

Botox and Dysport are both injectables (specifically, botulinum toxin injections) used to treat and prevent wrinkles.

The chemical compositions are slightly different. This can make one more effective than the other at specific injection sites.
